80s Saracen 531c frame for the taller gent. Fresh from the blasters (glass bead) and ready for paint. Also just for shot sitting on 27" wheels borrowed from my 'jackson. Sits better on 27 than it does on 700, though probably no space for mud guard with bigger tyres on the 27s (tyres are ~28c in pics)
64cm ctt
58cm ctc
frame = 531c
forks =531 with shimano SF dropouts
SCM crown.
126/128mm rear spacing
100mm front spacing
english BB
26.4mm seat tubepowder coated in telegrey 7403/7404 (?) and looks really good.
however the minor top tube dent was filled with polyester car filler and turned out to be a bad batch of filler/hardener which has reacted/ blistered with the heat of the ovens. In an obvious place, and to strip & recoat would cost a small fortune.
will get photos up tommorrow, looking for £130 posted from the north.
will chase the bb, fork threads and others if required (mech bolt, mudguard and pannier mounts). Frame + fork weight is around the 2.4-2.6kg mark I think, will check. -

Photos of above Saracen 64cm 531c/531 frame.
Finished in RAL7042 'Traffic Grey A' or RAL7043 'traffic grey B', can't remember which I'm afraid! Was supposed to be in Basalt Grey but they didn't quite have enough at the time, though colour is very similar in the flesh.
Will be in classifieds in a mo. -

I'm after a 64cm frame (or bigger), preferably Italian, preferably early 80s. Unsurprisingly this is proving very difficult to find.
Just bought a Benotto off ebay because it was stamped '64' on the BB. Turns out that Benotto measured their frames centre-to-top, so it's actually a 62. Bit pissed off. Will probably get it resprayed and stick it up for sale on here soon.
I might be interested if mobidog changes his mind.

Looking for something 64cm-ish with rack braze ons, 2 x bottlecage mounts, pref steel. 90s Dawes super galaxy, Raleigh Radonneur. something more exotic and exciting? Surprise me.

you just missed the Saracen. that could have been a tourer, has mounts, and at least one cage set.
Theres someone who lives just near me that has a pair of galaxy's they might possibly part with, I only see them when walking dog, so no idea when I'll next bump into them. She is maybe 5'8 and he more lik 6'3/5 so it could be a big one, but maybe not 64cm big, 60cm is possible. -

Appreciate the response, hopefully the planets align and you bump into them soon.

M Steel 531 25” Frame
With Shimano long horizontal rear ends, the seat tube is 25” 63.5cm from centre to top and the top tube is 22.5” 57cm from centre to centre. The rear end is spaced at 120mm.
It has braze ons for bottle cage on the down tube; brakecable guides on the top tube; gear cable stops on the bottom bracket and chainstay; mudguard eyes and a chain pip.
It is finished in blue and has some marks on the frame but no dents. I am looking for £40 including Parcelforce 48 hour service as I am up in North Yorkshire.

I have to sell 2 bikes of this size:
Gios Super Record 64x59 c-c (14 cm c-c stem) full Campagnolo Super Record. The group is not completed yet (missing a crankset and pedals) and I'll sell it as soon as I finish the bike for around 1000 euros.
De Rosa 64x59 full Campagnolo Super Record. It has been repainted and want to bring it back to the original color and I just have half of the group, so it's a long way before I sell it :)

Basic rules for classifieds:
- You must post the classified advert in the Classifieds forum.
- You must use a thread prefix if one is applicable. If more than one is applicable you must select the one that you most wish to happen. I.e. select "For Sale" even if you are also willing to trade but would prefer to sell.
- If you have an item for sale anywhere other than here, like ebay, bikeradar, ctc, retrobike, etc. then you cannot post it here. However, if you have posted it on one of those other sites, other people who have discovered it are allowed to post it in the eBay/Craigslist finds thread. You must not do this yourself.
- No bumping on anything you're offering (for sale or trade)! Exceptions: 1) If you included a price as per the advisory, you can bump the thread to drop the price. 2) If you hadn't added enough information (such as photos) and now want to.
- No fishing expeditions. You are either selling something or you're not. Either it's in the classifieds or it's deleted.
either its for sale here or somewhere else, can't be both
- You must post the classified advert in the Classifieds forum.
Mobidog, I'll try and let you know when I put the Benotto up for sale, though that could take a while. It's been primed ready for painting so it's all grey at the moment. Not sure what the tubing is but it's not light, so I don't think it's anything too special.
