  • If you can rock a 56 or 58cm frame.

I'd love to turn one of these into a superlight SSCX - just need to grow a few cm first...

  • Can order one in to try out.

Can you order some in for sale? I would pay quite a bit for some.

The sizing is pretty big as well, the 56 is like a 58 and the 58 is more like a 60.

  • ^This, I tried the 58, it was massive

  • Good price at 900 quid?

  • I was confident enough to race* full carbon, I would go for one of these.

*I need to actually begin racing

  • The PX XLS Force is looking pretty good value at £1300.

Tapered, PF30, full crabon and all that shizzle. Tyres aren't bad either.

  • That is nice. I am now torn between the sensible option that will take mudguards etc and double as a winter ride. Or sparkles like that.

  • Sparkles :)

    Sorry.

  • since when PX doing uncle john with disc mounts?!

  • For a while actually.

I'm waiting for the price to drop more, so I can replaced the Genesis CdF frame with it and a Kinesis CX fork.

  • mine (uncJohn) is several years old and has a rear disk mount. not on the fork mind.
that carbon PX is an incredible deal!

  • sparkles :)

    +1 :-)

  • get sparkles, you can always wash your arse.

  • He lives!

Hope your arse is a lot less active now.

  • Why are you on here and not buying the sparkles?

    Looks awesome in matte.

  • Howard, I need to get my C2W cheque first. Then I decide on sparkles.

  • Contacted PX about the XLS - sadly it only comes in clearcoat.

Might poke about on the orient express thread to find out if I can get matte frame direct from China.

  • Hydraulic Di2 spotted with the prototype giveaway alloy shifters as seen on early DA 9000

    paging Dammit

  • Excellent.

Once my rando bicycle is done, I'm converting the Genesis by replacing the frame with a more road-ordinates geometry and hyrdaulic Di2.

  • ^^ source?

^ so building a new bike rather than "converting" ;)

  • Is that the new 3T Tornova handlebar too?

  • ^ so building a new bike rather than "converting" ;)

Currently the Genesis is a do-it-all bicycle for audax and general ride, brilliant but can be a pig if you want to push it as you would a road bike.

With the Oak in near completion, I can now ditch the frame for a plastic disc frame with a normal head tube angle with clearance for fattie.

  • That Giant frame. I like.

Which plastic frame are you thinking about Ed?
