For reasons of stupidity I'd not considered the BB aspect - rather foolish as I have a fairly significant investment in the cranks.

I'd throw a new coat of paint on the Boardman just to freshen it up, but cannot help but think that Spring might be the time to do that.

For all I know it'd fit better. But its a nicely butted alu frame with tapered carbon fork, and disc brakes. AFAIK both have 'race' geometry. I cant really see the difference. Unless the Boardman doesnt have rack'n'guard mounts, and James seduced you with the Scoble look.

Start them young.

i was thinking more chinese carbon with a nice paintjob. a bike loses a lot of its utility when you need
to remortgage every time you scratch it.

Why not just a dirty disco?

Although if I had a custom/Di2/hydraulic disc/carbon Crumpton. I ride motherfecking fast to save me getting scratched by other bikes, or having to ride in their churnedf up tracks.

Won't take a rack and all that utility shit - it's a race bike, nothing more / less.

Didn't think dammit wanted that stuff.

It's not something that I think I'll ever use, to be honest, but it's nice to have just in case.

Main priorities are discs and BB30.
