Boardman does have rack and guard mounts- James put a rack on the back for his Holiday of Bending.

Kinesis Crosslight Pro6- I like the look of it, would there be any point in changing my frame to one?
that boardman is really hard to beat in terms of features and looks.
you would have to go custom painted carbon to get any significant improvement.
just look at the mess DJ ended up with. -

Saw the pic. Could'nt be bothered to check.
Having a fecker of a day at work. Just lost 16 tons of test material. Like lost it. Its not at the back of my filing cabinet where most things I lose go. its 16 FECKING TONS. How has someone lost this? FML CSB etc.
I do remember scare mongering around the interwebs, about aggressive racing geometry' on the Kinesis. Is'nt the Boardman a CX racer first, utility bike second as well?

Fuck....

I'd throw a new coat of paint on the Boardman just so that other Cyclists didn't think that I'd bought a Halfords bike!
They're just snobs ;-)

Crumpton FTW.
In this green with gold flash carbon finish.
They'll do BB30, disc brakes, oversized headtube, electric gear cable routing, hydraulic brake cable routing, battery mount etc. I'm sure

i was thinking more chinese carbon with a nice paintjob. a bike loses a lot of its utility when you need
to remortgage every time you scratch it. -

Why not just a dirty disco?
Although if I had a custom/Di2/hydraulic disc/carbon Crumpton. I ride motherfecking fast to save me getting scratched by other bikes, or having to ride in their churnedf up tracks.
-
• #1215
the dirty disco is probably the best one at the moment.

Won't take a rack and all that utility shit - it's a race bike, nothing more / less.
-
• #1217
Didn't think dammit wanted that stuff.

It's not something that I think I'll ever use, to be honest, but it's nice to have just in case.
Main priorities are discs and BB30.

buy that hongfu one. custom paint was $80 on top I think.

yeah, what's going on there? Did some marketing manager eat at a UK pub
while visiting a bike show and thought "they don't like flavour in food, they probably
prefer bikes like this"
still angry they didn't bring out this one
also...why can't Raleigh UK just die?

A more apt question is why can't Raleigh UK get replaced by Raleigh US?
Of course, most of the Raleigh US are similar to the Genesis sadly.
Just look at Raleigh Alfine 11 2013 Commuter;
For all I know it'd fit better. But its a nicely butted alu frame with tapered carbon fork, and disc brakes. AFAIK both have 'race' geometry. I cant really see the difference. Unless the Boardman doesnt have rack'n'guard mounts, and James seduced you with the Scoble look.
