I have just been going through the parts for my new bike, I cannot find the brass cable locks that are part of the V Twins. Were yours already inside the rear end cover when you got the brakes? Did you install yours yourself or get some help?

I dont have a torx set to open up the rear end cover and check but cannot find the cable locks.

FFS I had contacted Hope, they told me this part was inside the master cylinder. Finally opened it up this evening and no fucking brass cable lock

So can't build the bike after all the other problems.

sub £1,000 CX bicycles tend to be porky I think the Cannondale weight around 9kg, whether other CX bicycles within the price range are a little over that, even as far as 11kg*.

*not including disc-equipped one whom are naturally porkier of course.
