No, I'm from Pudsey (for my sins). Still in the Rhubarb Triangle though!

Nice part of the world, Ackworth. We went through there a couple of weeks back to buy a new car out Ponticarlo way!
-
• #81
Ah, yes! The Rhubarb! I shall endeavour to make a saddle bag shaped crumble to offer up at the afternoon tea break.

Suddenly the money/time/love/blood/sweat/tears/girlfriend's patience/etc spent getting my '52 Hobbs of Barbican built up has a real purpose! (certainly more worthy than the hallowed 'readers bikes' pages of bloody classic lightweights...)
Looking forward to meeting a few of yous...

Teddy,
I hate to be a pain in the arse, but in your FAQ you mention an eight year child, does the same apply to 1 and 4 year olds? Or is this only if they are on their own bike?Ta.

10mile TTer,
Jokes aside I wasthinking about putting my 2yrold on a cross bar seat, thats what he could mean T. -

if you've got your kid on a crossbar seat, they don't need to be registered. if they're riding a bike, they will though. either way, i'd advise you to have them avoid the cocktails at the end.
last year's best vintage bicycle competition was won by an eight-year old girl. she was amazeling.

Thanks, Teddy, they'll be in a trailer. I guess I'll have to drink their cocktails for them.
The girl who won the best vintage bicycle was amazing, not only 10 miles, but also 4 hours, and she was smiling the whole way.

she was my favorite rider last year, not a peep of english - understood, but it was so clear she loved it.

I remember her jumping up and down with glee when she won the prize and the massive smile on her face, awesome.

Sounds good! My train leaves at 2-ish though - don't want a repeat performance of last year!
