  • I'd like a feel too please G.

  • You'll need to form a queue.

  • Surely Albam is a very good option?

Good Japanese selvedge denim, assembled in England and £85. Mine have worn in really well. They are both one or two years old and have softened up nicely now.

yah albams are nice, have a pair of slim leg ones, worn in nicely throughout the year but wanted something slimmer. Super comfy after a years use

  • Not selvedge. In fact, not even denim but thought you lot might appreciated these:

    • 1 for McCoy and Buzz

I've got a lovely Joe McCoy type 2 that I got in a Duffer sale about 10-15 years ago... Beautiful it is...

  • Very nice Unharmed, they must be damned strong!

  • S'ok- thread read fail.

What are Albam like? The LVC 1966 I have just now, I'm not impressed really, they've gone a bit loose and the denim is sort of bobbly in places (not washed as yet, 6 months in)

  • ^^ They are. Going to take some effort to break these in.

  • I'm underwhelmed by LVC too and have been wearing my Albams instead cos they just feel better.

Here's a question. does anyone do nice washed denim jeans? I have three pairs of dark raw denim jeans but it's going to take a while for them to get pale (p.s. don't expect me to give a shit if this is a big faux pas).

  • I don't think anyone does. Nothing ever looks natural. All looks way to artificial to be considered 'nice.'

those are lovely, almost bought a pair in autumn

  • ^ I'm developing an addiction I fear.

    Duckloggers?

Mate rocks a 21oz pair of their selvedge. Crazy heavy but not too stiff as they weave isn't too tight. Super fly.

Need me some new denim. Also need a new job first. My Denim jacket is breaking in fucking nicely though.

  • Yes. IH-801s. Their 21oz denim is lovely stuff. I'm deeply besotted with my IH-634s. I'd love to pick up a pair in their 25oz version but that may have to wait awhile :)

  • Bet those duck pants feel great, I've got a Carharttt pair and they're soo comfy, just hate the tool pockets and YMCA front rivets.

The more pockets the better IMO.

Had a pocket for every annoying piece of documentation imaginable though.

  • Yeah, but when they say "empty your pockets" you maust cause a major tail-back.
