Anyone got a pic of a crotch repair? Not a pervert, just curious how visible and obvious it is...

Darning repair will look like this
I've done it a few times myself. It's easy enough if you're handy with a sewing machine

That’s not too bad, reminds me of repairs my mum used to make to my skate jeans. They were prone to splitting again fairly soon after iirc.

Just dropped off some 1995-ish Edwin Nashvilles for patching, they're going to last for ever.

That looks tidy. I always repair my jeans myself with an old sewing machine and the denim off cuts I keep from taking jeans up (the reality of buying selvedge denim when you have a 28" inside leg). I have a pair of Edwins that I've had for nearly 10 years that I've patched about 4 or 5 times now. I'm trying to go for the boro patchwork look and see how long I can make them last.

given the price of getting them done here ($40 a pair), I might as well look at getting a sewing machine and giving it a go.
I think.

Do it, it's super easy. Practice on scrap fabric first though

Sounds good.

Shop near me has just started selling Benzak Denim Developers. Only seen then through the window so haven't had the chance to try them yet but has anyone had them/rate them?

Found in TKMaxx in Gdansk for about £30.
Labelled as ‘EW-12’, from what i can tell they were an anniversary series a couple of years ago - japanese made, organic cotton, quite stiff. Seems a bargain!

Local charity shop had a bunch of Levi's Vintage seconds in my size, so I picked up a couple of pairs. From a look online I think they're the 1933 501s; the leather patches have been ripped off the waistband and a Sharpie line through the logo on the inside, but otherwise they seem fine, and £7 for selvedge denim works for me...

Tbf half of the stuff does look like it's from GAP.

Sorry for the spam but wanted to see if anyone here was interested before I created a FS thread.
“Unbranded” Brand UB201
14.5oz selvedge jeans 33” tapered fitAbout 7 years old but probably only worn 4 times and they’re too tight in the waist for me. So really like new condition.

For the stupidly small amount these sold for I'd rather pass them on to someone on here if someone can cover the P&P:
