I stick mine on a delicates wash, hit the rinse and hold button, drain them, then drip dry them outside. Seems to keep them in good condition (although they are cheap selvedge).

They look very clean. I have a few pairs I've never washed but I rotate and try not to wear any one pair for more than a week before letting them air. I'm forever spilling stuff and wiping my hands on them while cooking and generally being drunk, clumsy and gross. Left on for six months I reckon they'd go shiny with grime and stink rather than developing sweet fades.

Samsies. I think it's the wiping hands on them that really gets them honking :(

The crotch goes on mine if I don't wash them. Also. I'm a slob. Hand wipes. Snot. Food. Water. The lot.

The Edwin ED55 I have on today they've never been washed/rinsed in 18 months, never done anything special with them - they really don't smell or anything
