  • I do like 511s. Great slim cut. Even better, are 511 commuters (trolololol).

  • Got a japanese selvedge denim jacket a while back, starting to wear it now the polar vortex has fucked off.
It's stiff. Really quite stiff. Not wanting to wash it, or sleep in it, what can I do to (non-destructively) speed up the breaking-in process?

  • Anyone potentially interested in some 34 slate grey straight cut gustins? As new...and not washed (",) had the hems taken up. £50.

  • Leg length?

  • Anyone fancy a pair of Uniqlo selvedge jeans - unworn unwashed - in 36x32? £20 quid. Safey.

  • Leg length?

    34

  • Couple of pairs of Slim Evisu in Brixton TKMAX, 29 waist though. Also some Filson which look okay, slim/straight in 32

Kept an eye on these (the Filson), and found them reduced today, down to £30. Pretty pleased with that for proper jeans :)

    Whereabouts you based?

  • I bought those 29" Evisu for my other half thinking they'd do her as boyfriend fit jeans, they were mahoosive on her...

Took them back today, made in Macau, no silly paint... Nice pair o' keks for a skinny bastard... Only £37...

  • ^ ah, I tried them on and they fitted slightly looser than the 31 Filsons !

  • Whereabouts you based?

Clapton but I come through Dalston and London Bridge if you do a commute. Safey.

  • @d-goods. Yup. Will pm you shortly.

  • Crotch repairs. London. Good. And cheap. They're only carhartt.

    Also. Why the crotch? Why??

  • Reliance Arcade, Brixton... African lady in there does super cheap repairs... I take all my stuff to her...

  • I'll take them to her on Thursday.

    Schvitzy bits?

  • the great unwashed

  • Cycling?

  • I think unwashed. I don't wear them for cycling.

  • I know Gustin has frustrated some on here but I've taken the risk of backing their LIGHT WHITEID for $91 US.
    I'll be washing them too.

  • I have their Super Light, Grey Silk and Black2.

Grey Silk went to my bro as they were too small. The Black2's look nice but just got them so need to get them shorted.

The Super Lights? I wear daily. I love them, but they are wearing out (they are only 9oz)

  • Thanks, so consistency in sizing is the main issue?

  • not per say, I made the mistake of downsizing 1 thinking the 34's were too loose. There's a big difference, and the 33's would never stretch to fit.
I'd say their over all sizing is reasonably accurate.

  • I have just received a really nice pair of Edwin x Blitz black jeans, brand new, from tilover on here.

Sadly while the 32" waist size is ok, I can't get them far enough over my thighs to make the crotch high enough to walk properly.

I wish this was just a boast post as they are really nice jeans, but is there anyone skinny legged who would like them for the same price I paid, £75?

  • I know that feel bro.

I feel you will have to size up and get the waist altered...
