Thursday night food rides

I've been telling people there's one next week but that's just me, I'm happy to do them whenever, doesn't need to be too rigidly scheduled, I'm doing it this week regardless of anyone else coming.
But if you guys want a list...

Not really feeling Sabai Sabai though, but I'm cool to sit it out if that's the consensus. Don't want Food Ride to become too expensive, Singh's prices are spot-on, and I'm a total fucking Thai food snob after going there four times and staying with a vegetarian cook. Sorry. :-)

Friday the 8th at mr. singhs then? if we're squeezing it between cm and beers?

I'm out for Thursdays. Will maybe try and catch you later if you stay out.

Better that I'm not allowed to organise food rides, otherwise it's just going to be every Thursday and nobody else will come along

We changed to Friday to suit MG but as it's the Thursday Food Ride thread and she can't go on the Friday that week I've changed it back, feels like this thread/ride might be losing focus, maybe start a Friday ride thread if you want.

This is the dilemna of organising regular group things (rides, polo, beers). Move days around to suit the regular attendees/weather conditions, or make it a strict regular occurance in the hope of growing the event....

I'm all for scene dictators (I pretty much boss people around at polo, pistaboy is growing into beers-boss, void is de-facto food-ride kingpin) as it gets things done. If people are unhappy with how things are going, they can stage a revolution/have a quiet word (I for one wouldn't take it personally with polo).

Word.
Pointless changing the day to suit one person and then they don't attend.

I know we've tried to make Food Rides as inclusive as possible but the way I see it from now on is there's one every Thursday, if that's too often for you then only come monthly or fortnightly or whatever, if it's the wrong night then start another ride and we can have two... but this one is as intended, a shambolic saunter through the city in search of food every Thursday evening, no zine meetings making us late and no waiting for Barry for three hours...
