Whilst this is true I'd still like to do it once "just because"
We only had time to go to Box Hill on the route & thought it was superb - in Ripley, Nest Cafe (on the left hand side after you go left - but before the righthander), had nice carrot cake - and Wiggo et al had been in there the day before.
Staple Lane & Combe Lane descent were a lot of fun.

I have sent this to her Dad, who I know through business.
I suspect that he will be wearing the "Proudest Dad in the UK" hat, for at least the next week.
I would buy that man a drink. And then try and get off with his daughter.

Hey, he just about beat a retired 40 year old who hasn't raced competitively since the middle of May.

No, that was years ago, not 'recent', and he was tested after a road race, not a sportive.
It was the recent USA case I was thinking about, had overlooked the earlier reply.
The fact remains, "amateur" does not mean "clean".

Has anyone ridden down the 'River' on Box Hill in the wet?
http://londonandsoutheastnt.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/richard-longs-box-hill-river-road.htmlFirst thoughts are it might be incredibly slippery

If their Plan A was to rely on public 'phone networks to rely GPS information then they're idiots if they don't realise these networks start to fall apart when you have lots of people (i.e. spectators) swamping the masts.
Trust O2!

yesterday's race had the hallmarks of a true spring classic, far more entertaining and the rain made it gritty.. these girls are shit hard, left it all on the road 'belgian style'.. shame about the high number of punctures 'spose wet conditions were to blame.. we had crews out tape fixing manhole cover edges around putney before the riders headed back
i think i'm in love ffs. girls ftw in cycling and football.
the boy racers can all just >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> -
