"
Working Party - This Saturday 26thWith the spring re-opening looming we’re having our bi-annual working party this Saturday 26th 12pm-4.30pm. There are a number of jobs needing doing to get the site ready for the first training session of the year on 5th March. We’ll be:
[]Fixing fences
[]Sweeping leaves
[]Collecting rubbish
[]Fixing track bikes
[]Fixing mountainbikes
[]Generally clearing up after winterHerne Hill Velodrome is run entirely by volunteers, so this is a great chance to get involved. There will be jobs for everyone. Jan will be serving teas and coffees during the day. Volunteers should report to Iain Cook at the Workshop to agree tasks."
Be there or be square. The last WP had a very poor turnout, this is your chance to make a difference where we need it. You might even get to meet some of London's top track stars too!

Despite a desire to appear, I have finally succumbed to my housemate's horrible death-virus and have barely managed to crawl from bed to computer. Does not bode well.

Feb or March?
It's TODAY!
Rain is easing off. Still on?

Realising I don't have any coats that would let me work outside in the rain for hours so hope this rain stops soon or i'm out. Forecast yesterday was for a wet morning and dry afternoon :(

Unfortunately I almost freeze under the rain in Kent so I can't make it. I need a hot bath and by the time I get to HH will be too late. I wanted to go straight after the ride :(

If next saturday is wet we could do a working party instead of track :(
-

Thanks Rob, Jason and everyone for organising that. An enjoyable afternoon, if it was the hardest and slowest lap that I have ever done. Bike now safely at Shop14 being given a new lease of life. Good to see everyone.
Next Saturday will be beautifully warm and sunny. Be positive (if soewhat unrealistic).

There were a good number of people there and only just enough brooms. Don't feel guilty.
If the weather allows, I will be there ready for Sunday training March 6th
