thanks Skinny, I'll give that a go,
I've just reviewed a copy of my report, and this is the bit that foxed me;
'Evidence
You mentioned you can send us photos or footage of the incident taking place. Please tell us more below'so instead of submitting the (primary) evidence of whats happened, you describe a) the type of evidence and b) what it shows, and then the person reviewing your written description of your video decides if it's worth contacting you to ask for what you're describing? It's followed by;
'If the evidence is hosted online, please provide the URL below'
Hey-ho, will setup a private YT channel and use that as a double precaution - and learn how to write clickbait copy to ensure get the video viewed. 'YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT THIS DRIVER.... etc etc etc)

Anyone got an alternative way of mounting the old Fly12 (Aldi camera)? The Velcro is nearly dead.
Ideally I'd like to mount to the end of my rear pannier rack, or somehow fit to the bottlecage mount on the rear of my Fabric Tri saddle...

Will be mounting a gopro4 upside down, underneath my front rack on the driveside. Any suggestions for a decent mount?

Thanks, you've just reminded me that I already have some of those - Will give them a go!

Anyone actually got an apeman mounted on a bike? Didn't want to use their three piece mount so got blubuzz Garmin mount but the piece supposed to fit camera doesn't fit.

I have been using one of these for a few years now, fits any go pro looking knock offs and indeed a go pro.
Just go through a couple of pages on eBay, might cost me like £6 or something.

I wanted mine to be as simple as possible and hang under the Garmin which was why I bought the Garmin mounts. Feckin' things don't fit though.

That'll do it. I might even be able to knick the gopro mount bit and fit it to my existing garmin mounts? Problem with the one that came with blubuzz mounts is the tabs are too wide and don't fit into the apeman case. There's also no bolt there, even if they did fit.

i want to mount a gopro onto the underside of a front rack, ideally one that allows to move the camera on/off easily and quickly.
It has pretty thin struts - is there a solution out there?

Is there a thread for where I post videos of my missus smoking F(Sky)KWers in RP?
Finally used the Apeman (well, she did). It's pretty decent. Upsidedown at the moment but just flipped video in software.

I think you can flip it on the camera in settings somewhere.
-
• #819
Yeah, I'd imagine that would be possible but I've had zero use of it save for enabling mass storage mode and laughing at her RP laps :)

Anyone found a quick-release version of this type of mount? I've seen ones that thread on, but is there nothing like a Hope Vision cam quick release?

Anything < £10 that doesn't leave anything on the bike?

What's the current best option for a <£100 helmet cam? Was going to grab one of the entry level gopro hero's, but they seem to have done away with them.
Got wiped out by a motorist for the second time in 3 months on Friday and had another near miss on my way home from getting my bike checked at the shop yesterday. All on straight roads where I had right of way, while wearing a bright orange jacket, commuting slowly by Brompton.
Time for a camera...
I had a completely unreasonable move from a motorist yesterday; at junction waiting to turn, aggressive undertake/closepass with swearing/honking impatient driver behind, forcing his way past.
Unnerving that someone that aggressive is behind the wheel, so decided to submit report to Met Roadsafe. Went through the online process, but am a bit stumped; am I right in that you can't/don't submit footage, but have to host somewhere & submit a link?
I might have missed something, but I'm not into public shaming (yet), does anyone know if something like a gdrive link/dropbox to files is ok?
