Loving the amount of track-slack in this thread in particular.

Can you talk about the benefits of pogies - should we all be using them?

There are ups and downs to them really. They're waterproof, windproof and really warm providing your hands are warm to start with and stay in them most of the time. I don't really use them for courier work because I spend as much time with my hands out of them as in them, meaning my hands get cold and the pogies don't do anything apart from block the wind.
They're decent on a commuter though, ultra toasty if you shove something in there to warm them up before use.
I've just got a set of lobster gloves that so far feel about as warm but without some of the drawbacks so may well retire the pogies!
If you're intrigued you're welcome to borrow mine for a bit. -

What type of brake hanger did you use on the rear of the bike?

It's a V2, so there's a canti hanger welded on. Brakes are Froglegs.

Is this part welded? I believed in a Mulo

Anyone looking for an xl wide spaced pomp frame? Mine has to go in an n-1 deal I've struck ...
Would be frame + fork (later gen pomp fork, different shade blue) + fsa headset (red), fairly stuck square taper bb, seatclamp, possibly stx cantis plus the helpful hangy bits too if needed plus a few of my tears as I'll be sad to see it go.
I'll clean the stickers (not pictured here) off as best I can.
It'd be collection (by you, your local contact, a courier you arrange).
Not sure what to ask for it tbh but will check ebay & forum recents and come up with a forum friendly price.
Pic from mini-v days.

Just bought a Mulo frame. Shame there’s no fork. Any ideas? I’d like to add full mudguards.

I have a carbon cx fork (1 1/8" steere) that you could use a headset reducer on?

I'm not sure I can bring myself to let it go. Waiting for the right moment to just stash this & old Kaff in a dark corner of the loft...

Hey all, google's saying the sizing for these runs small generally. If I'm usually a large should I size up?
-
• #8673
I bought a large pomp initially and ended up changing to an XL so I'd say yes. Am about 186cm and often ride 58cm road frames.

I guess it depends on how you set it up. I normally ride a 54, my Pomp is a 52 and fits well with a decent amount of seatpost showing, a 110mm stem and risers. It'd probably feel a bit low and cramped with drops though.

My Pompino in winter commuter guise. Updated with new, less agonising saddle and new, less fucked brake pads. It's not pretty but it's great to ride! Just need to sort the rear mudflap out, the guards are quite short and it sticks out at a weird angle.
