So are we on for nets tonight? Don't want to hang around until 8 and find out we aren't and that I could have be watching the tour highlights, but then don't want to ride home to find out i've missed out.

Can't get through to Ben. Regent's Park contingency plan at 7pm? That way if Paddington Rec nets are indeed on, we could just cycle there after?
I'm based just off Tottenham Court Road, so close to kidboy and rg37.

Sounds like a plan, where abouts in regents park are the nets? I'm getting booted out of the office soon so may ride over there now
-
• #535
we couldn't get hold of you ben, so we went to regents park. i recall you saying you weren't able to block book at paddington rec anyway.
two cricket practices in a week for me cause i played in manchester on monday.

Like i said the ball i bowled was a once in a life time ball! Don't think I could do that again. Good fun last naight although I seem to have been bitten to buggery by the local wildlife.

did you ride? i only saw haran at the start and only saw ben at the finish. didn't see al once. there were c.1400 riders! i was always in the company of some people i knew but it was so hard to keep a group together. fun ride
my right knee not happy now though. i'm out for this week, back next. sorry but i'm riding around with my right foot unclipped and just hanging loose at the moment, letting lefty do it all!

Try sitting on it until it goes dead first, much more pleasurable.
Wrong thread, but cheers Ben for the lead out/attack in the last few miles to Dunwich. You would have made your look-a-like, Cavendish (and to a lesser extent, the bass guitarist from Muse) proud.
With regards to nets, we could do Regent's Park again or Claphnarm, although I suspect numbers will be low and the weather will be inclement. Unless there's sudden interest, I reckon this week's nets are off?

I think you could be right, although it will be one less excuse for why i haven't started my run training!

So how we all set for this week? Si is your knee any better?
My season has bottomed out, still stuck in a rut and can't get back into double figures! 4 and out this weekend, but got a few weeks of, so hopefully the break will do me some good.
Guess see what numbers we have then figure out where? -
• #548
I'm up for it. Where you thinking - Regent's Park again? I'm gonna bring a nerfball to improve throwing technique too.
-
• #549
I don't mind, I’ll definitely be on foot tomorrow as both my bikes are in need of repairs before they are road worthy.
See who else is in then decided? -
