  • Happy birthday Dan, have some Kendal Mint Cake on me.

  • Hope you're both able to get some beer time in by now. Happy birthday Dan!

  • We fucking made it, let me says it again, 144 on Weds, 148 on ties and then, the hardest, 86 miles home stretch.

We fucking made it! Now me and Dan gonna get very drunk, will write the ride report soon.

  • Well done! Eat, drink and be very satisfied with yourselves! Thanks so much for all your hard effort. And thanks to everyone that donated to WfW!

  • Hey hey hey don't forget about Dan, its his ride, I'm just tagging along.

I've taken so many photo of which ill upload soon once I sorted them, there are some gem and should ve enough for publishing hopefully.

  • Can't wait to see them! And don't worry, Dan is mentioned first in all the tweets! I'm sure it was made easier for Dan with a tag-along though Ed.

  • Ha ha! Sounds like Ed has now given over Wheels for Wellbeing for beer for wellbeing! £1000+ raised or £1 something, each per km. Deserves a drink.

  • Although I'm riding the last 21 milea from keswick to windermete, it mark my 4th century since I left London.

God it fucking awe-inspiring to sample the lakeland on the bike, I even let out a massive laugh of realisation that I rode all the way here.

10 miles left to windermere, I'm out (for now).

  • Blog updated.

  • Well done both of you.

  • Well done guys....Looking forward to the pics!

  • Ducking awesome guys

  • Quick upload - Dan and me on our second day at 6am ready to leave Derby to Lancaster.

  • How did I miss this thread?

    Left--Cycling Plus model

    Right--CTC model

  • have you jammed a sock down the front of your shorts dan?

  • Notice how it's shaped exactly like his nose.

  • If your still in keswick, make sure you visit the keswickian chip shop.

  • Didn't stay there long, but I remember them from my childhood.

The Lakeland was surprisingly small, but then I must have been 12 when I last visited Cumberland.

Even though I did only 24 miles yesterday, it was a surprisingly wonderful and relaxing tour, exactly how it should be (50-75 miles a day kind of ride), just a shame it have to be halted to get the 3pm train home to Euston.
