  • GT45+Soak+24hrs+Vice worked for me.

  • undo the clamp

ride bike around doing bunny hops off kerbs etc, and short sprints

this agitation may get the seatpost moving (worked for me)

  • Did one freezing it with a couple of ahem "borrowed" C02 fire extinguishers and a monkey wrench

  • Have you tried giving it a crack on top of the seat post with a hammer? It's often better than just trying to lever it around as it breaks whatever seal is there

  • Hmm the more I think about it for £25 and a short drive Ciclos Uno is looking like the better option.

  • Hot caustic soda solution, a hose (to call the frame and wash away the spewing volcano of hot metal solution), goggles, a face mask, a concrete patio and gloves. Couple of hours of that and it's game over for the seatpost. And your paint, unless you're super careful.

    Story here: http://www.lfgss.com/thread116465.html

  • also, non chemical extraction
