still humming GG Allin's - Bite It You Scum
Don't think I'll ever get that tune out of my head after the lovely '98 Notting Hill swivel chair in the dark on lsd party.
And it's so apt for cycling too...

I'm a bad person to go on long rides with.
I tend to sing the first line of the same song over and over again without realising it. Mainly because I have a void in my brain where the bit that remembers song lyrics should be.
Seriously, I can keep it up for hours.

Is that one of those first lines to a song?
I'm guessing 50 Cent or something...

On long rides, especially overnighters, Annie's Song by Glen Campbell invades my head and I scream out improvised lyrics to keep from falling asleep - 'You fiddle me senseleeeeesssss, like a fight with a florist...' etc for hours.

Recently been singing System of a Down because my headphones are broken. I have received a few funny looks as I round corners on the canal

Can't find a thread to read so reluctantly forced to start one.
Why do you sing while you're out riding?
I generally sing to myself, a mix of silently to myself and out loud, occasionally at full volume but usually kind of low volume. I guess I do it as it sets a cadence or something, or is Pavlovian... I don't set out to sing, it just kind of happens.
Songs I can't stop singing include -
Nirvana - Heart Shaped Box (chorus only, and I don't like the band or the song but it seems to be stuck in my head EVERY time I get on a bike).
Some song I wrote myself (years ago when I used to be a stoner) about Spanish MILFs & acid.
Bob Dylan - Tangled Up In Blue.
Eek-A-Mouse - Schoolboy (also used to sing this when dancing on the spot trying to get a hitch back in my hitch-hiking days). No idea why they are stuck in my head, especially the Nirvana, but I'm willing to bet I sing at least one of them every single day while on the bike.
