  • He's ace in 'Six Feet Under' too

Also WELL worth watching with an equally ACE ending

  • I just finished season 5 of Dexter after caning 1-4 in about 2 weeks - great series.
4 and 5 really stepped it up in terms of cliff-hanger endings and Lithgow was a great choice as Trinity.

  • Rita in Dexter is HOT!

Dexter FACT - Michael C Hall is married to 'Deborah' in real life

Not for much longer. They've just filed for divorce after about 20 minutes of marriage. Besides, it's a bit dark being married to a sibling, even if it's your screen sister.

  • He's just survived cancer though. Both got through that....?

    ^ Superb

  • I rest my case...

  • Doesn't Jerry Seinfeld own the largest collection of Porsche sports cars?

  • Living in China means there isn't much on the box so I get through quite a few series pretty quickly. Some obvious choices have been mentioned, Sopranos and The Wire to name but two. I'd recommend The first couple seasons of Entourage purely for Jermey Piven's outbursts as Ari Gold, Hollywood's most obnoxious agent.

    and David Duchovny in

    which was superb.

  • I also enjoyed entourage

  • Californication is a great show... Season 3 was a bit stupid but watched S04 E02 last night (it aired in the US on Sunday night) and it's shaping up to be a corker... Duchovny is great in it...

  • I saw a few Californication's and I'm tempted to watch the lot

  • Curb Your Enthusiasm is OK in small doses. Once you've seen 2 or 3 though(especially on the trot) it becomes hard work as all the scenario's are roughly the same using the same formula

There's only so much cringing you can do

  • +1 to Californication

thinking of the squirt scene still makes me chuckle

  • I rest my case...

    WANK!

Don't tell me, you enjoyed 'Friends' too?

  • Quite possibly my old man's most treasured possession, myself included

  • Dallas FTW

  • Most of my TV box sets are cult British episodic TV. The American serials I've watched every episode of (Twin Peaks, Lost, 24 series 1, Heroes, Flashforward) were far too hard work to watch again on DVD.

    The Sweeney,
    The Persuaders,
    The New Avengers,
    The Saint,
    Return of the Saint,
    The Professionals,
    Sapphire and Steel,
    Spooks,
    Hustle

Only Fools and Horses is not funny anymore to me, not because it was never funny, for it was, but because it has been repeated so many times that every joke has worn thin.
Some excellent comedy boxsets are Mighty Boosh, Spaced, Black Books (even the commentary on this is good), Big Train.

  • Frasier on repeat. Daily. And this week, the Singing Detective...

  • Black Adder has to be the best of British. Spaced too was very funny.

  • Thick of it.
Look around you (waiting to go on the damoplayer).

G: do you have the Dexter sets or did you borrow?

  • WANK!

That's right, I forgot you were a humourless twat... Friends?!? Purlease!?!

  • Sopranos > all other boxsets

^this.. although it's clearly missing Fawlty Towers

  • I think Dexter season #5 is the best so far. Julia Stiles made it for me.
I barely made it through season #2 with the horse-faced and talentless Jaime Murray.

The one who played Rita is now in 'No Ordinary Family' with Michael Chickliss which is ok.

Has anyone mentioned 'The Shield' yet? that was cool.
