I quite agree, especially with their "what's your postcode please?" chat-up line when you want to buy something that cost slightly over £20.
We know who you are Dovvles.

A single cup of tea, anywhere, humble cafe or posh joint.
Should be pence, not pounds.
At Terry's (Gt Suffolk St) was 30p last I was in there. Probably gone up but I'd be v surprised if it's over 50p. Can't really afford their dinners anymore though.

I really resent that and I find it really intrusive.

I like the concept of council tax, just not the inefficiency of nearly all councils. What do I get for my £1000? Not a tory fuck you very much.

Ha. Just trolling. Spent ages once trying to work out how much of my council tax went on my own wages, but i was really busy at work trying to find a new bike on ebay so i didn't get a proper answer.

If I did'nt wear under my helmet, a skull cap in the winter, a bandana during spring autumm, and a headband in the summer. I would have dissolved my own eyebrows by now.

I too have a skull cap. Without the helmet on I look like the Spanish inquisition. Not a good look.

Is that place ever open for more than about 30 minutes in the morning? Every time I've gone there they're closed, or just closing. And to think Alex James gave it his best cafe award in the Sun a couple of months ago.

Closes at 2pm*. Assumed it was open all morning up til then, but dunno. One of my faves but I'm always tempted by a dinner and it's too expensive to have often, I haven't been since I stopped working round there more than a year ago.
