Ben I've booked a pitch for myself at the same campsite as the tipis on the Saturday and Sunday night. No further planning beyond that. I don't know how the ferries work, that might be worth considering.
I would like to ride down (you didn't imagine it Tom) but I'll need to carry a tent, without panniers I'm thinking this could be an issue? Need to look into portable tents, haven't yet...

Fox, thanks for the shout, I'll be ringing Roebeck today to book a pitch too. WRT riding down I would love to but I'd feel a little guilty asking the lady to hulk all the camping stuff etc
I'm tempted to bring a car down but will probably end up training it. Aiming to get there middayish in time for a BBQ. At which point i thoroughly recommend mine available at http://www.firebox.com/product/2087/Portable-BBQ-Grill
What are people riding (distace, bike, times) I'll be going for the longest, on my BMC as early as poss.

From Roebuck (tipis) website:
What you need to bring with you and what is provided on site:
General
You will need to bring the following:
A sleeping bag.
A torch.
CookingWe provide you with a simple gas camping stove and pans free of charge. The only cost involved is additional gas supply which costs £2.00 per can and this lasts for about two hours of cooking. There are also barbeque and a fire circle close to the tipis that you can set up an open fire on. Firewood, charcoal and lighters are available on site at reasonable prices. Please bring your own cutlery, plates, cups etc.

I was actually starting to think the opposite after watching our pathetic capitulation to Blackburn on Saturday, season ticking to a close while they strolled around with no ideas and no fight.

Eh? Never had to register before. Never been a problem with queues. Wotcha talkin' about?
-
• #123
Yeah, queues have never been a problem in the past. Maybe we weren't registering at peak times...
Have just Pre-Registered online anyway...

I think you need to register if you want a blue peter badge
