so does anyone know where you can get low price ray ban wayfarers that aren't ebay knock offs?

is there anywhere I can get replacement lenses (and fitted) for Wayfarers in London?
Yes. But most places will tell you that you run the risk of the frames being damaged if they replace the lenses. I always thought this was bullshit until Specsavers (cheapskate vibes) fucked up a pair of my Wayfarers. They took a chip out of the frames at the front and glued it back in. Not great. Since then I have had my lenses replaced by Iris Optical who are cheap and not a bunch of 18 year old giblets. Would recommend.

Had to sort thru scores of sunglasses last weekend at TKMaxx before finding these Byblos for £15They're certainly inspired by your Persols.

The only Persols worth getting, in my opinion.

Are those the folding version?
-
• #385
I tried them on but they were a bit too 'out there' for my liking

Are those the folding version?
I don't think so. Not a fan of folding glasses. As in centre hinged. I do like the standard arm hinges...

Disagree - I remember getting a pair of these and loved them. They also turned me on to tortoise shell frames.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but here it goes :)
Does anyone know where to get "proper" teashades ? Not some cheap chinese £2 ones. But something good, vintage perhaps.
I'm quite sure that some of you "ex"-hippes must have them stored somewhere :DAnyways, does anyone know where to get them? Probably in Camden, but at least point me out where to look.
OR
I dont know how to describe these but they were used as a wielding googles in early-mid 50's.
But I want them rounder, like teashades.
I've seen something like this in American Apparel last summer i guess they dont do them anymore.

I thought "teashades" was an alias for 'Slain.
Bit disappointing that it's a request for some manky John Lennon glasses.
Try eBay.
