i have been wearing dailies, for a solid month, for well over 3 years. and have had eye tests every 6 months, with no change.
i just hate wearing glasses in the rain, or crashing and smashing the buggers -

How big are they? Harold LLoyd style or smaller?
Slightly smaller, but if you look mine are slightly ovalised, I think his were perfectly round, which is harder to pull off.

Kris is right, there is no thread about these kind of glasses. I wear Cutler and Gross, these ones:
I like these. Does anyone do anything similar for less than an arm and a leg?

If they do, I couldn't find them. I tried on all the glasses I could, and the ones that suited me best were pretty much the most expensive (and you can't buy them online).
In the end I got 15% of from 20/20 on Tottenham Court Road, so not as bad as they might have been. Also got them glazed online, much cheaper.
On the plus side, they are beautifully made and make me happy every time I pick them up.

I have these in my car as sunglasses with grey lenses. Very dark. Strange. Black fabrics look brown through them.
The frames are my dad's 60s from this photo:

try frith stores? or simlar sunglasses and change lenses?

Good glasses are worth the extra $, youll enjoy wearing them more. My opinion is somewhat worthless though as I only wear mine when Im working.

I can highly recommend Ciliary Blue for glazing if you buy frames separately (best way to do it IMO):
http://ciliaryblue.comGood prices and great service. And they do the ultra clean coating which is really good, you don't have to clean your glasses anywhere near as often.

What is this "clean your glasses" of which you speak?
Surely it is like chains- get a new one when the old one gets too dirty?

I like what I see from the DJ's link.
Pity there's no augmented reality website selling frames. Nothing looks good on me and I'd like to make sure they fit, before I order something online.
Augmented reality PS3 Move/iPhone shop with glass frames... Now, this is a good idea to start a business. Who's in?
