I seriously think something along the lines of "Do A Skid! The London Fixed-gear and Single-speed book" is what's called for.

"LFGSS" as a title makes sense but is just a bit too abstract and unfriendly, and lots of the in-jokes aren't broad enough or too cynical/ironic/self-deprecating. The whole 'do a skid!' thing well sums up the founding idea of a few pals living in a city together enjoying their bikes and the community that surrounds them. It's light-hearted, catchy, sociable, proud and succinct.

I actually think Lynx almost nailed it.

This is much more than just a fixed wheel or single speed forum. Many of us also have geared bikes too.

london fixed, geared and single speed still keeps the same initials and addresses the misnomer the site has carried for so long (fixed wheel, not fixed gear)
