Throwback time for me. I still have a veste de travail from a stint at a winery almost 25 years ago. Had no idea how expensive they are these days (decent discount mind).
Checked out Lafont yet?

My time at Raeburn taught me recycled cotton doesnāt last as long. Iām guessing thatās why.
Also organic cotton uses five times as less water to produce. -

Ta Owl I looked as folk ones and whilst they are nice I thought the material wasn't quite what I wanted. Think I might sell a few bits and save up for the St Michael one

Yeah i get that, more fashion than function. Nothing better than getting the thing you really want, you enjoy putting it on every time so much more.

Yeah, I did some further reading and Patagonia have to combine it with (recycled) polyester to increase the length of the fibers. Five times less water than non-organic cotton, but still more water than recycled cotton/recycled poly, presumably?

Went into town today wanted to check End but there was a massive que asked the guy on the door if it was for a certain release and could I go in if I wasn't wanting the release only to be told " no its just normal day and que was just to get in the shop...wtf. there were about 30 people in the shop maybe less. Is this new thing to stop shop lifting?

Who does mid-to-heavyweight chinos in 1" waist increments? Preferably with a bit of stretch for cycling and prolonged desk-sitting. Not very this thread but I quite like the m&s 'ultimate chinos ' but they only start at 32" with a sensible leg width. Budget is probably up to about Ā£50 but I could ask Santa for something more fancy.
Or do I just get the M&S ones and take them to be adjusted?

I need some fingerless gloves. Ideal for smoking rollups, shooting a Gat gun and these days typing furiously on a keyboard.

Any recommendations for places to buy a nice beanie? Would usually just go to Uniqlo which are absolutely fine for your every day headcovering, but just wondered if there's anywhere nicer I could be looking.....

Reiss.
I moarn the loss of my Reiss beenie more than any other item of clothing. Cashmere and merino blend. Warm but not too hot - could even cycle to work in it to take the edge off without sweating.
I'm sure my colleague stole it when we were out for drinks. He was a cunt. Tbf it could have been anyone in the bar, but it seems an odd thing for a stranger to steel on its own rather than taking at least a jacket as well.

Iāve got a box of shit beanies that never get worn because I was gifted a Drakes one. Not the cheapest but I like that the shape isnāt too short/hipster.
