I have this one. It's great!

how is the sizing for you? struggled with nanamica in the past...
-
• #4305
Pretty sure it's a Large - so yeah sizing was fine (rather than very Japanese)

It’s a strong look.

Any recommendations for quality flannel shirts? I have a patagonia one which is lovely and thick, with sturdy twin breast pockets. It’s thin enough to tuck in but thick enough to wear over a t-shirt undone. I’d like one with a fairly classic simple navy and dark green check which pata don’t offer. All the ones I’ve seen on the high street are very thin/poor quality. Thanks :)

Check the usual suspect Japanese makers, head and shoulders above the quality of Patagonia.

Ooh thanks, mind suggesting a few names? Big fan of a small but quality wardrobe

It’s a strong look.
Strong and eye wateringly ridiculously overpriced expensive too, however prices have come down at Loro Piana (from the $14,000 of the above coat), the favourite brand of dictators and billionaires.

Iron Heart make some of the best UHFs. Or try Flat Head, UES etc. Basically Japanese stuff.

Yep, I have a lovely Glory Park Flat Head & Co shirt but i must have put a bit of weight on so not worn it :-/

As @small said.
Also see 3sixteen (US), Studio D’Artisan, Sugar Cane, Burgus Plus, Real McCoys, Warehouse….
From Japan is a proxy service that someone on styleforum recently made me aware of. They have access to new and used items that are usually difficult for people outside of that country to buy, or at least at a fairly reasonable price. -

I love my Return of the Purps work shirt.

I wish I could wear Flat Head at any size but my shoulder width/hip width ratio isn’t up to it.
-

mine too, shoulders are too wide.
am having a pre-move clear out soon, i’m sure it will fit somebody. -

In that case look into Ironheart, works better for my shape.
-

Ironheart have v long sleeves (I think they’d claim it’s for motorcycle riding)
Pendleton for wool shirts, Filson and Woolrich also worth a look.

Ta will have a look to browse..I'm on a no garments rule for while. But it's nice to browse

True, easier to adjust sleeve length than shoulder width though.
-
• #4324
Yeah can confirm that the filson shirts are lovely quality and incredibly thick. Pretty boxy fit, although mine has a pretty tight neck (i'm a 15 1/2 so hardly huge).

Is there much second hand stuff in this thread? Or any awareness of the downsides of consumption of new clothes? From what I've seen so far it's mostly golf club cunts flashing their cash on status symbols.
Oooh we are getting into jacket/big coat territory.
Anyone seen anything nice?
The nanga x F/CE bomb jacket is superb but pretty much sold out all over.
