Pretty sure it's a Large - so yeah sizing was fine (rather than very Japanese)

Any recommendations for quality flannel shirts? I have a patagonia one which is lovely and thick, with sturdy twin breast pockets. It’s thin enough to tuck in but thick enough to wear over a t-shirt undone. I’d like one with a fairly classic simple navy and dark green check which pata don’t offer. All the ones I’ve seen on the high street are very thin/poor quality. Thanks :)

Strong and eye wateringly ridiculously overpriced expensive too, however prices have come down at Loro Piana (from the $14,000 of the above coat), the favourite brand of dictators and billionaires.

Iron Heart make some of the best UHFs. Or try Flat Head, UES etc. Basically Japanese stuff.

Yep, I have a lovely Glory Park Flat Head & Co shirt but i must have put a bit of weight on so not worn it :-/

From Japan is a proxy service that someone on styleforum recently made me aware of. They have access to new and used items that are usually difficult for people outside of that country to buy, or at least at a fairly reasonable price.

In that case look into Ironheart, works better for my shape.

Ironheart have v long sleeves (I think they’d claim it’s for motorcycle riding)

Pendleton for wool shirts, Filson and Woolrich also worth a look.

True, easier to adjust sleeve length than shoulder width though.

Yeah can confirm that the filson shirts are lovely quality and incredibly thick. Pretty boxy fit, although mine has a pretty tight neck (i'm a 15 1/2 so hardly huge).

Is there much second hand stuff in this thread? Or any awareness of the downsides of consumption of new clothes? From what I've seen so far it's mostly golf club cunts flashing their cash on status symbols.
