Genuinely picked up a navy blue Aspesi M65 in an oxfam last weekend. Pretty much brand new too. Given I was in the Aspesi shop considering them at £600 in Milan the other week I was beyond happy
If anyone is looking for chore coats, I'm pretty into these guys atm https://pajotten.com/
they're not too pricey, great quality, made to order (so no waste) and handmade in Kent

Oxfam in Islington.
My wife saw those reactions and asked if someone had had a baby haha
-

Ah Islington used to be my go to charity shop area.
3 x brand new with tag Marni shirts for £30 was my best ever find

I'm now hunting for a checked raglan raincoat, like this
that mackintosh one is nearly £900 however. Are there any other, nice, cheaper options? Reversible would be incredible too...

Am a fan. -

There aren’t many of those around. SEH Kelly and Drakes have done them recently but I don’t think they were long enough. Your best bet might be to trawl eBay for vintage Daks and similar.

Thought this would be as good a place to ask as any.
Does anyone know of an easily available invisible hair gel?
I've always used L'Oreal Studio Line Invisi Hold Normal Strength Gel, but so sparingly the bulk deal I bought has only just run out after god knows how many years.
A few of the sites I've tried who show stock, have come back to say it's out of stock and out of stock with their suppliers.
Anyone know of an alternative?
Cheers

Cheers. I've tried a seller on amazon who claims to have 4 in stock. So hopefully they do.
But thought it may be easier to find an alternative I can buy from a normal supermarket.
Tbh I'm surprised it was pulled as it's good and I thought the would be a few people who need hold, but don't want a lubed head.

The Uniqlo Lemaire ones probably - they’re slightly oversized but thick.

APC had something similar with slightly duller colours in the previous season for about 400, can’t remember the name though and it’s no longer on their website!

Do you find your Le Tricoteur jumper too hot to wear most of the time in winter? Ie can you wear it indoors, on the tube or with a coat on?
Cheers.

I run a little cold, and live in a place that easily ranges between -30 in winter and +30 in summer. Keeping all those things in mind, no, I find it quite comfortable to wear throughout most of the year. We only have buses for public transport in town and honestly I walk a lot of the time, so the sweater is often only layer number 3 out 5 in mid-January.

I’ve got one too and we’re it daily. I find it manages heat really well, I rarely overheat indoors and it keeps me surprisingly warm at winter. Unless it’s below 0 it’s all I need under my gore tex when outside, yet it’s perfectly fine indoors. Best sweater I’ve had by far.
Not sure about the cuffs tho'...
I don't wear shirts (right now) but have a hankering for a nice short sleeve summer shirt with a Peter Pan collar...
