Of course Cats are calculating, natural hunters even in domestic form..and I'm not biased, I like hounds as well..only reason I don't have a hound is that it would be cruel as no one to tend to it whilst I'm at work..

Yesterday while one puppy was sleeping another straddled it's face and pissed all over it. True story. Poor bastard.

MET office says dry all day Saturday, then 5 degrees and sunny on Sunday. Could be the first dry Highgate court in recent memory!

The way I'm going to count is this: award points for each list, starting at 15 and going down by one point for each place. (The reason I did this is that some lists are 12 long, some only 6 or 7, so it means that the gaps are fair). For people who don't vote, I award everyone else 15 points, otherwise, it creates an unfair advantage (by voting you're 'gifting' people points) for people who didn't vote. All that is hard for number-mongs like me to explain. Ask if you need more clarification...

I'm historically poor at anything number related, so if you see any errors in my thinking, please let me know. I'll blot out names and make my results visible after the vote, so people can check I didn't fudge anything.

I almost got my bike out today and went for a pedal. I didn't get past the box of puppies. spent the day getting chewed and bitten. some people pay good money for that kinda treatment!

ebay man can confirm that royal snail havn't got a clue where my stem is - happy happy joy joy. So Simon.. please PLEASE bring that one with you tomorrow to shooting, then i'll do some spannering and ut my wheel discs back on = more confidence! lol

Even if you don't intend to race there will be plenty to do (wo)manning the start line, finish line, (randomly interpreted) refereeing etc...

Seems to be some interest from out-of-towners, if this snowballs and becomes something does anyone want to offer floors/beds to visitors?

The whole thing is totally embryonic, we can make this pretty good if we bang heads and talk, we've got plenty of time.

Standing on the sidelines today was a big eye opener..i think we need to mix the teams up a hell of a lot more..as some combinations do not work at all. Get everyone gelled...

I know what you mean, but today was an odd one. The ice was making it really weird. The best times for me are when we have 9 people, and split into teams for the whole session, but it can only be done with 9 or 12 people...
