is that still cheaper than all the others, and can the initial outlay be covered by the bhbpa?
-
• #3478
Why are they dearer?
-
• #3479
Last time bbf paid for the material.

I like the heads a lot (especially the ligher version) and I think they're still cheaper/easier to get in Brum than Magic/Milk equivalents. I'd buy 1-2.
Really need a shaft or two though - how much are G&G poles?
Last time I looked, BHBPA had money in the account so we could use that if it makes it easier (Fin we could do with catching up about banking stuff...)

I think we're still owed for two heads but can't remember who hasn't paid. Bank account is healthy.
GG shafts are 5 for brummies. I'm going see if we can thread an m6 straight into the bottom.
Let's have a post polo meeting on sunday?
EDIT: I've managed to tap a thread in the shaft.

Might have to move this to Matts...

Can't make it, but if you can post minutes here or just keep me in the loop that would be nice.
Only thing I have to raise is BHBPA roles - I am secretary (I think) and supposed to be keeping an eye on the account, but I haven't looked in probably a year because either a) I am inept or b) unity bank's online log in is rubbish (you make your own mind up). So long as Fin is filling the gap it's fine, but it might be better if someone else takes over to make sure he isn't embezzling and spending it all on snickerses.
Also, for the record, I like the league!

So Chris is away until the 29th and the deadline for round one games is this Sunday, so they aren't likely to happen unless Alice, Lj come and play with a sub against Chris Swan, Fin and Viki. Or If Mya and Harry play with a sub and so do LJ and Alice.
It's looking slim, but rather than punish anyone with a 5-0 defeat I reckon it'll be better to roll the games over to round 2. So games will be played back to back on a day when all players needed are there.
From Next wednesday Round two will start and all the games that need to played in that round can begin.

I can tone my play down a bit, maybe score a lot less goals, and sub in for Chris if you want.
SICK BURRRRRRNNNNNN! -

First game of round 2 played. Oaks take dogs 4-3. Goal scorers: Fin - 2, Joe - 1, Neil - 3, Chris S - 1.

Well, a week later I got that burn from Neil: Ouch!
I'm available for league games from now on. -

The fire was so hot the burn lasted this long.

Anyone interested in the Cambridge tournament - https://www.lfgss.com/events/430/?offset=25?
I'm 50/50 and am looking to make a decision towards the end of this month depending on how many other teams are going. Happy to drive to this one.
-
• #3492
I calculate that, myself, fin, kat, dan, neil and possibly harry want to play this. Lets get some teams together before the deadline.
-

Hi Harry! I would if we can get a third and you still fancy going.
-
• #3498

Hopefully I'll be at polo on Wednesday, but if not, happy to transport the wood and goals wherever they end up.
Do we want more birmingham heads made? They're likely to be around 15 pounds this time.
