  • A few mallets heads with caps almost ready to go. weigh around 95g with cap.

  • Looks good asim!

Where did you say I could get those metal offcuts from?

  • Here's a zoomed in satellite map of the court. It's under the stretch of railway that you can see. To get to it the easiest way is to go down onto the canal at the Bishopsgate Street/Bath Row entrance and then head south. You go under one bridge and then hop over a black fence on your right before you go under the next one. The court is on your right. Fin reckons it's motion sensor lights.

If it's the land under the highway that abuts the Betholum Row Jewish Burial Ground, it's not owned by the council or operated by it, and it's probably leased from network rail.

  • That's the one Neil. Maybe chasing network rail would be the next step?

  • Sunday 25th November? Bench minor tournament. Decide teams on the day. 10am start

I'm up for the tournament but I can't do that weekend. How about the Sunday after?

  • @neil for steel

sweeet how are the caps attached?

  • Caps are attached with grub screws and i have 4 ready for testing.

  • yes please

  • Going to London, who would like some Magic shafts if they've still got some? (they're 0.8mm, the perros that we've been using are 1.0mm)

  • SPOTTED

  • Ha, awesome. Notice distinct lack of wife helping out.

  • Magic shafts are all sold out, back in stock in November!

My old polo frame, cranks, wheels, etc are all at On Your Bike still. Free to a good home!...might be okay for a beginner? Otherwise Stu is sending them to bike heaven :(

  • Ace Jess! I'm sure one of the beginners will use them, maybe Kat?

  • We'll take it and do it up. Thanks jess.

  • I would let Stu know ASAP just in case. The front wheel is a bit spaghetti like but everything else is useable I think.

  • The bike is built and ready. Kat should be on it next weds!

    Ace. Nice one Fin/Jess

  • Rad. Pics please!

  • the drives on the right side! ;)

  • She lives! Well done Fin. Not the best polo bike ever but enough to get someone going!

  • Communal BBF effort. Hopefully it will help Kat and Olivia on court.

  • Anyone else need shafts?

Wanna do a Canterbury bulk order of Perros? £9.50 each and £5 postage between all of us. IE - ten shafts means a nice round £10 per shaft.

If I've done my arithmetic right...

Or we could wait for Magic?

If we're going to use the newer breed of lighter shafts, we may have to stage an intervention with Neil to stop him hacking and bending our shit.
