On my way to work I noticed that Tradesigns are chucking out a load of corrugated plastic. (address: 1124 Pershore Road, B30 2YG). I'd get there quick if you want some as it's probably out for the bin collection today.

Starting from today I'm going to run a little competition. Over the next month I'm going to award a prize to the best 'up and coming' player.

In April I will be asking everyone to suggest their pick based on goal tending, support and attack.

The prize is a nifty BigxTop hip pouch, perfect for tools, worth £20.

Spirited polo tonight I thought. Heckling is more fun the more spectators there are.

There's a good chance the lights won't change with the clocks. I'm too stupid to work out if that means they'll go off at 8pm or 11pm, but I think it's the former.

if they're not synced with the clocks, they should go off at 11. (when it's 10pm on Tuesday - it's really 9pm, so when its actually 10pm the clocks will say 11pm.) yeeeaaahhh

Shall we do a single player tournament some time soon? Kind of like Cambridge, but just for u lot. Shuffled teams like normal (but totally random), make sure everyone plays the same number of games, no draws, most wins = the winner? It would emphasise team play...

Someone will need to take over the organising of the national series tournament. The meeting with British Cycling and Council Sports is the afternoon of 3rd April, I may be able to go with someone to this and then hand over.

How a about a randomly drawn A,B,C tournament?

We'd only have enough for four teams. Could still be fun, and we could do round-robin with a final...

Rounds should take roughly an hour so we could have 2 or 3 rounds (then a Final)

I reckon we should try one of those tournament formats on the weekend after the beginners day, so April 15th. We could try to squeeze one in before beginners, but by the time we have a decent turnout we will only have a few hours.
