  • don't wish to make it public. give us your email address, visitors message.

Not sure how to send a visitors message, but my email is nathanedavis1@gmail.com. It's looking likely I won't be able to get down. But if you email where you are in London as well maybe we could make an arangement.

  • YES, one frame in particular.
Rossin that germaneddie is selling. I wish it was my size. I think its 57ctc

I thought all frames were gone? How much is it?

  • at noon there were at least a dozen frames and complete bikes.

    It was on gumtree too.
    yeah this one:

That's annoying, I definitely would've gone down if someone on here hadn't told me all the frames were gone...

  • this seller had 4 frames. there was a regular jumble guy with a couple bertin bikes. one complete track and a road frame IIRC. and a few carlton's.
the rossin is local if you fit a 57-58. click on the photo it links you to GT and you can contact him there.

  • Ts - were you on a red bike? Think i spotted you leaving. But dont know how i think i know what you look like!

  • I had a nice trek down there today.,.....I know I saw a couple of you, but didn't want to but into the conversation.....i had a couple of bacon rolls and sat next to Hilary Stone in the cafe....

That place cannot be allowed to close........It is a big chunk of British cycling history. I loved just walking amongst the stands and taking in the atmosphere.

I got a nice set of French swept back bars and a couple of 'peace' canti straddles for my 'crosser........and saw some lovely bikes too! Worth going jsut to have a look at some of them ;0)

  • went there today, what a joke, 5 people selling some stuff and that was it...

I expected (or hoped for) something at least 10x times as large, apparently the wrong place? anyone have a better recommendation?

A jumble in London with 50 stalls?!? Doesn't exist...

If we (lfgss) would do our own jumble, I guess we could have one with 500

  • last week there were more a lot more.

And most of the wares for sale would be old tat.

I for myself DO have a lot of 5-10 quid-ish track and road stuff that is definitely interesting, but I can't be arsed to do all the photo/list/PM/waitforcollection/wrap/ship hassle.

A jumble would work, and it'd be fun as well. And as it's more meant to be a social event and we are not traders interested in making money, there would be hell of a lot of bargains I guess.

  • I went and was disappointed to only buy 4 inner tubes and some bar tape! I bought a lovely Roberts track frame there on Good Friday though...

  • think a lot of people are in the same situation as you. I know I have a crapload of leftovers from various builds but cant be bothered to /list/PM/waitforcollection/wrap/ship hassle for a £2 part.
    LMNH Jumble is an option.

  • I'd like some hen's teeth and a sack of rockinghorse manure thankyouvermuch.

  • I'd like some rainbow paint. I plan to paint my bike in celebration of Cav's win.

Please give me correct prices on this please before Saturday thanks.

  • Rainbow paint costs one crock of gold for a 1 litre can.
Rockinghorse manure and hen's teeth come cheaper if bought as a job lot!!

  • would you have any hens manure or rocking horse teeth available?

  • I would like an inverse shim please.

  • I'm hoping to find a lunar satellite skewered on some kind of baton or dowel.
