You listenin Andy, If this is or was a trend look at the number of hits these clips have had, check the dates, & read the comments. Keanue was so far ahead of all the trendy tricksters, Its funny to see the same groups go to the same spots that we filmed over 2 years ago. No he is not sponsored by anyone, independance is bliss. He did however get some support over the years from BLB which we, me & Keanue are very greatfull for. The realest homegrown bike shop in "East" London. Now we are moving on because of the overkill that the fixie scene pushes down one's throat, there's just far to many bikes to ride & enjoy! If this was a trend which I could care less, then it would seem that all you trendy people have been following a 13 year old, I would like to add that he "Keanu" did all the editing himself. So now I would like to sit back hav a cuppa, & watch the HIPSTER scene die a slow painfull death. Get out there & try different bikes I know lots of you do, thats why I enjoy the forum, group hug. Oh yeah I don't hav to explain my Tattoos to anybody
Why don't you let your Son decide what he does or doesn't want to do, instead of deciding for him?....

Basically, these two groups of idiots with jokes for lives have come on here to compete about who has the more of a joke of a life.
It's 15 pages of the most inane chatter from some of the dumbest people I've ever heard on the web, discussing their merits in the ultimate of non-sports.
............Damn. Wish I'd read this before trawling through 10 pages, slitting my wrists then skipping to the end........... NURSE!

I've just noticed this thread. My goodness me.
Putting on one side the unacceptable tags - please hippy/VB, name and shame the idiot who posted them, if they are not removed immediately - one thing intrigues me.
Is the 5th floor crew what we used to know as Trixiedix? Did they evolved from them? I see that some of their early video is shot on top of the car park - is that where they get their name from? Where does Trixiedix happen now? And whatever happened to its precursor, TrixieChix?

Clive
The scribes behind tags will never be revealed, this has been discussed previously. This is one of the bastions of the cowards on here.
If you read carefully the 5th floor does indeed come from TrixieDix.
Not sure what happened to the Chix.

James, dear chap. Reading a fifteen page thread carefully is not where i am at today. Thank you for the information though.

it was my understand that in a future incarnation of the forum we could know who writes which tags but not sure if that'd work retro-actively. Would make for a lot of work for VB I'd guess.

Not sure what happened to the Chix.
They took up cycling.

Which shows why fixie skidder hipster stuff is good if it can operate as an introduction to proper cycling.
Today's nodder and today's hipster are tomorrow's cyclists!
[and also potential clients for London's famous London's leading cycle coach]

So clive, were you once a fixie skidder hipster, and when did you take up proper cycling as opposed to falling on your arse and being out of action forever?
-
• #742
Well that livened up a dull day back at work.
It's the LFGSS panto, innit.
Good work people. -

No James but I once nodded with the best of them and then met you and my life was transformed.
As for being out of cycling forever, my goals this year (for which London's greatest cycling coach is coaching me) include:
Tour of Wessex - 3 days 300 miles
Manchester -> Oxford -> London - 3 days 260 miles
London -> Monte Carlo - 7 days 900 miles. -

Lfgss loves a good villain for everyone to counter-troll.

Hopefully I can join the ex nodenger for some training rides.
-

I just notice that the winner of the skid competition tend to be someone who's obese.
make sense though, more weight on front wheel.
-
• #747
ed, perhaps I should give up dreams of Monte Carlo in September, forget about my diet and losing multiple stones and just stay fat and do skids.
Tempting but for the effect it would have on my knees.

After the abuse you have been throwing in my direction of late, I am worried what an ex-judo-with-metal-sticks-enger might do to me on a ride. I need to stay injury free.

Only managed one tour last year, and the year before. Hoping to change things this year. Too many polo trips, not enough cycling trips... Well... just enough polo trips, need more cycling trips.
