Spotted all sorts today. Was down by kong, about 6 people on single speeds and fixed gear. Some nice looking bikes. Think the crowd was for the adidas dept opening in kong.

Ha all shitty create bikes, 90% of the people there told me before they would never have a fixed/ss bike

A45 this afternoon about 5, near Ryton old Peugeot plant, flat bars, white deep V rear, going v. slowly on the shitty path that runs along the A45. I was in the car with the other commuters stuck on Baggington roundabout hell.

Seen a lot more now that the university term has started:
1 green Create
1 Raleigh Magnum with Spinergy rear wheel (rear wheel worth more than the bike)
1 green stickered unknown bike
1 baremetal fixed-gear with drops and gold lever (looks pretty similar to my bike actually)Also saw two guys on fixed gears riding on Humber Ave about a week ago - one had stunt pegs. I was in a hurry so I couldn't say hello.
Anyone on here?

Spotted at 5pm today riding towards coventry on Longford Road black singlespeed/fixie white rims.
Anyone here?
I havn't seen the trendy black dude with the lime green ss/fixed bike lately.. usually see him most days ;/ -

^ Is the bike stickered? I've seen that guy too, I think.
Here's my bike in case anyone spots it:

You could say the guy has a sticker fetish, yes.

• #65
I'm liking that conversion Lae.

Yeah I see him quite a lot.
Thanks Blakey, it's built entirely out of spares and looks like a complete turd, but it rides quite nicely and hopefully won't attract attention.
The other day I saw a brakeless foot retentionless pavement riding tit on a red Falcon conversion that's far too small for him. I've seen it locked up a few times and today I had a closer look, and it's got a fucking multispeed freewheel. I actually went up to it and played with the cranks to check, yes, he is riding brakeless freewheel.

Maybe he's in winter training for CycleSpeedway as that's how speedway bikes role ;)

Seen a lot more now that the university term has started...
1 Raleigh Magnum with Spinergy rear wheel (rear wheel worth more than the bike)
...Anyone on here?Sounds like my housemates old ride...but i thought the spinergy got sold(?)... think it got left in our neighbours house when we moved out.

Yeah I actually saw that bike last year. A guy I know (Jean-Michel, french guy who taught animation/CAD, if you know him?) said it was his mate's bike. Not surprised that it left it in the garden, I had a Raleigh Magnum a few years ago and it was a pile of shite.
-
• #70
That was my old ride and yeah correct about the spinergy being worth more than the magnum. And it wasn't left in the garden.

• #71
What you riding now Buc?
-
• #72
Sannino pursuit dude.
-
• #73
Nice! You should post some pics up mate.

I keep seeing a couple of fixed gears riding along Earlsdon Avenue North, and usually turning down Broomfield Road. Also, coming out of Highland road onto Earlsdon Avenue. Bikes are both typical looking, with risers and a little bit of colour. One silver frame for sure. Not been near enough to get any more details.

This was probably me coming out of work. I used to work at the Wildlife Trust which was just down the road. I was hoping someone was going to say they had spotted me riding fast, not "v. slowly" but oh well! There's always a next time! ;)
yea, not feeling that
