Anyone know if they're going to knock another day off this year as they did last year?
-
• #543
No idea but I bloody hope not!

Any way you cut it, it's easy if you're remotely keen.
It should be 500 miles on Christmas Day. Everything else is 2nd class. ;)

Due to an unforeseen circumstance I will do doing the F500 on tubs this year.
Or not, as the case may be.

Did mine in about 3 days last year (and then spent the following day vomiting, but that's besides the point). HTFU. ;)

Do turbo miles count? ;)

Do turbo miles count? ;)
Given that this is organised by Rapha, I would suspect is would all depend on the location of the turbo - riding 500 miles on a turbo placed in the middle of the velodrome in Roubaix would likely be accepted, 500 miles in your bedroom might not...
I'm considering the possibility to ride to Paris and back, though I'm not sure how that will fit in with the, now traditional, excessive consumption of alcohol in the lead up to, on, and immediatley after christmas day...

Its my first year doing this. I am excite!
I dont do Christmas so finding time around the holidays isnt an issue. I am working till 24th (half day) and 30th though. Since I work in central I was thinking of doing regents laps after work on both those days so thats 100k. Will have to do rest 400k in 5 days. Should be alright. I was thinking 1 long ride somewhere north and then surrey/richmond park miles as its closer to me.
