I know, i'm wondering why he put himself up for ROE, not London? Probably didnt think he'd get drafted for London..

How's everyone getting there? I found cheap flights from Birmingham to Frankfurt (or Stuttgart, can't remember), but would prefer to go with other people if it's reasonably convenient.

Sorry, this is not against Matt but he was not in neither of the lists, London or ROE. Its a bit of a shit from Andy to let Rich to sit at home when he was in the list and should be then able to go.

Eurostar to Paris, TGV to Karlsruhe. Came to around £125, some people did it for less, some a bit more.

I needed to book them sperately to get the best deal, online. I would try calling DB (bahn.com) though first. Sometimes you get a good customer support person who knows what they're doing and gets you a great deal (last time we trained it to/from k'ruhe). Some times you don't (this time I was told the tickets would be hundreds of euros, so I just had to find cheap ones online).

There are 5 or so of us on the outward train so far, and a buch more on the return.

Flights with ryanair to K'ruhe. Warning: 80 quid for bikes. 5 quid each way fee. Return train to Stansted (or wherevere you will fly to). The airport you land in (Karlsruhe-Baden) is not in Karlsruhe, but Baden-Baden, so you'll need to get a train/taxi from there. It adds up.

Baden-Baden airport to KA, €9.80 if I remember correctly

That's not the case, go read what Hannes put in the op. I've been delaying and asking more people to put their names down so it's not 'a bit shit' of me to leave Rich out, i just picked the team from my knowledge of the players. I dont know much about Rich compared to the players i picked. If you had a problem with me being captain, you should of said something using your real name. Instead you're just coming across really bitter. Fucking lame.

he's a great player, dedicated, and a sound guy.
if you didn't know this you should have done your research, leaving him out because you don't know much about him is lame!

I half agree, and half think players should have been selling themselves more. instead of assuming the captain would know how good they are or how keen they were.

if i was a captain i would want to have the best team i could possibly chose
