I've suggested Tuesday as a starting point. If others can't make it, please do suggest a preferred day.
7pm?
Yeah Saf is good to try but a wee bit pretentious I think. :)
Looking forward to this!

Sagar - 157 King Street W6 9JT also West End and Covent Garden
Mildreds vegan - 45 Lexington Street W1F 9AN
Blah Blah Blah - 78 Goldhawk Road W12 8HA
Diwana - 121 Drummond Street NW1 2HL
Woodlands - 37 Panton Street SW1Y 4EA
The Gate - 51 Queen Caroline Street Hammersmith W6 9QL
Itadaki Zen vegan- 139 King's Cross Road WC1X 9BJ
Saf Vegan (EC2)
Rani Vegetarian Vegan (N3)
Carnevale (EC1, just down the road from LMNH)
Manna (NW3)
222 Vegan (W14)
Jai Krishna (N4)
Vitao Vegan (W1F)
Food for Thought vegan (WC2H)I think best to try and make sure there are quite a few vegan options, there are some veggie restaurants that don't offer enough to give a vegan a good choice, and also should help us keep the number up.
Maybe if we have a top 5 we can make a poll to see where people want to go?

Great work on the restaurant list, Bruce and Seb! Seb, where you put 'vegan', do you mean that there are good options for vegans there?

RASA N16 The only vegetarian restaurant left in the RASA empire. Not that many options for vegans, but if you've never been, it's a must. Better Keralan food than Sagar (and Sagar is great).List for 20th September:

Sadly, I can't make the 20th. It might not be perfect for you, either, Alex--it's LCC Local Groups Forum. Then again, I don't know if you were planning to go. :)
Maybe if we have a top 5 we can make a poll to see where people want to go?
My Top 5 would be:
Sagar
Carnevale
Blah Blah Blah
Vitao
DiwanaI think Manna and Saf would be too pricey for a forum outing.

They are the ones that I'm pretty sure have quite a few options, but it would need some calls to be made and menus inspected to get a final answer.
I think that trying to keep things cheap is the best idea.
I'm going to see what day's I'm working next week before I am able to commit.

I don't really mind, though I really like the staff at the King St one - they took me in, with my bike, the other week when it was chucking it down. I'm sure they're nice in the West End too though!

Provisionally in, really hope I can stay in. The King Street Sagar is fine for me. Isn't cycle parking there fairly poor? From memory, there are one or two stands nearby, so let's use those to support a bike pile.

I will recce the area this week and see if there is some better parking elsewhere. It's a busy street though so a bitch lock pile up should be fine. Hope you can come Oliver.

Cool! We're in ... depends on jet-lag though. A big maybe. We'll be back the day before so will see if we're still awake.

Hurrah! :)
Definitely up for this, what time is good for people?
Rani is really good, Saf is more of en experience rather than a great meal imho.
