I do like a nice bit of chocolate, but I have to say that Maynards Wine Gums are actualy magical re-hydrating* nodes. When out on a ride in hot dry weather, just try one of these little beauties.
*in the interests of safety, don't rely on these for hydration - you will also need water

I lived in the US way longer than necessary and most candy over there is either waxy chocolate, cinnamon crap or peanut flavored crap.
US tastes are really dumbed down, I know there are alternatives but I'm talking about the sort of stuff you can pick up in a gas station while driving long distance compared with the same choice in the same circumstances here, we wipe the fucking floor with them.
That pic up there with the Hershey fucking wax dog shit chocolate Hugs and the Three Muskateers and the Butter(wax-turd)fingers made me shudder. It looks like the 'food' aisle in a CVS in TX.Oh, I like Lindt milk chocolate, no idea what the bars called but it's about 100g, costs a quid.

You never see an old man eating a Twix.
Is that like saying 'you never see an old motorhead' because they all die?!
Are you saying twix kills?!
