currently off (buying) sweets and I don't really miss them.
Going to make some peanut brittle on tuesday, and maybe some nougat- which I will promptly give to my flatmates to eat.

In high school there was a guy in my form that would buy about 6 time outs every lunch for a few weeks and eat them all. He's always been really really skinny as well. What a bastard.

it is interesting, when the wispa came out in 86 or whenever the very foundations of the chocolate eating world were rocked, or maybe just mine,
just downed a ritter sport praline, 7/10

freeze a mars bar and grate finely,then put in bottle of vodka. leave for 2 days,the result is pure joy!

Ahh the Wispa.. Very post-modern. It's not what they've added but what they've taken away from your average chocolate bar

Too true, it takes the best from every chocolate bar and puts them together in one super mega chocolate bar.

Damn I wish I had the will power to stay off chocolate. Theres something about winter that just demands chocolate is eaten.

Oh and me and the Mrs sat reading this thread for a good half hour yesterday together, never before has she taken such interest in LFGSS.

The Double Decker is definitely very good, thanks to its pleasing contrasting textures and chewiness. Not so much the Wispa for me though, I find it boring. The Twirl is a bit of an under-rated gem, and something of a back-of-the-envelope idea from Cadbury’s boffins; ‘I know, lets coat a regular Flake bar in chocolate...is that the best we can really do, surely the people won’t swallow it?’, but stone the crows, what a belter.

Pushing their lack of imagination to its logical conclusion, they then insert a layer of wafer in the centre and, hey presto, the mighty Time Out, another winner in my book.

Time Outs are great, does anyone else think they taste slightly of coffee?

I have a soft spot for twix as well.

Once, i got a kilo of dairy milk for a birthday or silly adopted pagan festival day i hate that thing one square a day until it was done.

I don't know how i managed that as normally i'm an 'open the hobnobs, finish the hobnobs' kind of guy.

Oh and Ferrero roche, I don't even think i like them that much but the are great fun to eat.

Marmite chocolate is a win.. IMHO
