Also, here's the spec on the Gios cyclo-cross bike.
Actually, I'm not sure this is a Gios, but rather a very good replica. It is made with 531 and very lightweight as was sold through Plum in Ghent, so it's not going to be a real stinker. Frame size is tt 56cm, down tube 53cm.
Also there are some nice design features ,like the rear brake cable going through the seat-post (see picture). You just wouldn't do this with junk.
Also the bike has excellent wheels, although they take tubs: Mavic rims and Record hubs.
Although everything works this is a strange one to sell. To me, it feels like it should go in the window of a shop or something. I certainly couldn't recommend doing cross on it..
Anyway, it is an amazing bike. Price will be £300.
Do you have any bb shell pictures please? Thats if its not sold already.

Not sure if i've put this up before. Regardless, it's still available. It's currently in the workshop but will go out this weekend at £325, with Sachs New Success groupset; Campag Record hubs and FIR rims.

I've been looking for the owner of the Freddy Maertens for ages, as far as I can tell, it's been locked (badly I might add) outside a station near me for months. If you know who bought it, a PM my way would be great: I'd rather it in my shed than in the rain, poor bike.

I've been looking at that bike thinking exactly the same thing for 3 months. I have an angle grinder, but fear getting knicked releasing it. Technically I think it's TFL's perogative - I can't imagine there'd be anyone worth talking to at the station itself...maybe contact them directly?

Might you have some more detailed photos of this bicycle?
