Hey Tibbs,
If you ever want to join forces to do an EPIC one, have a look at this thread: https://www.lfgss.com/thread17578.html
I bakes 60 dozen cookies and delivered them by cargo bike a few years ago to help my friend who had broken his collar bone out with rent money.
I've said I would never, ever do this again, but...well, I kinda want to.
I had forgotten about that.
You must do this again.

Facebook has just confirmed that I was too slow for this again. Facebook also told me I have to either try my luck at sleeping with either Fran or James on Saturday night if I want to WUTM

Don't worry. We're going to be running them more frequently over the next few months and we're introducing a lottery system so it will no longer be first come first serve, hopefully make it a bit more fair.
Tell a friend to tell a friend.

I purposely didn't reply this time because I had one last time. Next round though, it's on.

Completely overslept today. Front door bell went and I was scrambled to the door to find a very happy Virgil armed with the most delicious muffin, even in its own little plastic container.
Not just that but the muffin was awesome, 531 has been surpassed, things should be rated on a scale of 1 to Wake Up to Muff.

Muffin was awesome - the seeds on top went down very well with the parakeet!

Yum yum - a delicious start to the day. Hope you had a good delivery ride - perfect weather for it.
Had forgotten to mention wutm to the missus, so then had lengthy explanation as to why a strange man off the internet was bringing me a morning muffin!

Was great to meet Franziska and the infamous DJ and good to see Rupert and Russ again. Managed to cover 60 miles in the end.
To be honest when I got home and tried the muffin I was slightly disappointed, not as flavourful as I had hoped. Definitely not by best work, but that's what you get when you dabble with the savouries.

It was pretty dense and bread-like, but that wasn't a bad thing

Virgil
Not sure what you were eating, mine was lovely. I am a big fan of all those seads and agree with Russ, it had a good bready consistency.
What is your favourite charity?

I tend to support AIDS charities. Being from Zimbabwe it has largely impacted on my life. I feel the issue is also quite neglected since the celebrity vogue of the late 80's wore off.

Any in particular that do good work in Africa/Zimbabwe

None in particular really. Whenever I donate I usually go for UNAIDS and throw money in the general pool. I think if I could raise a significant sum then I would try and focus it somewhere.

or alternatively Haiti. Did a bike ride to Paris for the appeal last year. That's no longer in the news but the issues remain.

Oh, not sure what I was saying previously, I agree the muffins were not up to scratch, so you better come and leave the left over ones here. (nom nom nom)

i concur, top work. Moist and not too sweet. I sometimes get bored halfway through a muffin but not this time
A+
Yeah, was thinking of doing something like this for the velodrome once I had enough followers to make it worth while.
