Tbh, mine's a chap.

And like my current one, it will be self-explanatory which gender it would be if it had a gender.

Though I might put pedals on mine.

Mostly Taiwanese, fathered by someone of another nationality, these days? Mine's definitely French, both parents are French. And it's painted white. Well, for the most part.

Well, seeing as this thread has been resurrected - all my bikes are she, because I figure I would follow the same convention as sailing ships, but now having thought about it, it could be a bit disrespectful.

I just don't want to refer to them as 'it' though, that seems worse.

So what about when the bike has a mans name on it?

I suppose I would have to reconsider, but seeing as Ribble and Mercian are both gender neutral, I never really had to think about it.
