you riding your red lo-pro for this, bernie? i love that bike!
I am under orders to let the broken rib heal before I am allowed out on the red mental again, but if I am not riding it, you are more than welcome to take a loan for the night.

I was with Joe Garcia on the Oxford Alley kat and a mixture of excess speed, pouring rain, pothole, and maybe a few pints of Guinness, conspired against me. Nearly mended though.

As a first time poster, i feel that this ride* would be a good introduction to group rides being both an irish and a firm fan of the guinness at the establishments mentioned, particularly the coach and horses.
What the protocol in these situations? Does one simply turn up?

STOP PRESS; ROAD CLOSURE UPDATE
A large swathe of central London will be closed to road traffic for 19 hours on 29 April for the Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Hundreds of thousands of spectators are expected to gather for the occasion, with 200,000 anticipated to gather in Hyde Park alone, where the event will be shown live on giant TV screens, and further tens of thousands lining the route of the wedding procession. The procession will pass from Buckingham Palace, via The Mall, down Whitehall, to Westminster Abbey. The couple will return by the same route.
Roads between Lambeth Bridge and Waterloo Bridge to the south and as far north as Piccadilly and the Strand will be closed from 4am, and police hope to have roads re-opened by 11pm. Depending on crowds and the time taken to remove security barriers, that time may be revised
Therefore, I suspect that we can detour around the access issues, so timing, and route will be as advised earlier.
Look back at post #88 (thanks Ian) and see you all there.
