I've never tried bike polo but watched it a couple of times wishing I could give it a shot :) Would love to give it a go if there is a beginners night sort of thing! Any possibility of that happening in the near future?

Tonight's not looking too good. Weather is shit too. You guys up for Thursday South? There's also Broadway Market court, it's a bit shit, but it's something, and it's North, for a change.

Anybody up for playing Thursday? Forecast is good. Could either go South (there is a league game, tho) or North to Broadway Market?
Need more courts with lights :/

Also, I spoke to Natasha/Natalie at the Valentine's tourney about her potentially coming out. I took her email but it didn't save. If anybody has her contact info just PM it to me.

There should be an annual European ladies tourney. This is awesome.
-
• #213
wow! cool.
reminds me of something ali Mc (vancouver/brisbane girlie polo hobo) mentioned- a girl's only throw in to be held at the same time as the world's in seattle too... has anybody else heard anything about it? -
• #214
This is awesome to the power of rad. Gonna have to find a cheap ticket cuz it would be a shame to miss.

This is awesome to the power of rad. .
ha ha

This is power to the awesome of rad indeed!
I wish had an endless supply of monies.
So lemme get this right, it's only one day of lady polo (assuming you're not in the European Elite)?
-
• #217
Sounds like two half days for both tournaments?
-
• #218
Ah, now I've read it properly...
plus throw ins and then special polo? So 4 days.
I guess that means all European Elite will be watching the girls play. Hmm. -

But they were thinking of doing it together i think at some point indeed -

Hey peeps, I would like to play again but without a bike and working on the other side of london is proving to be a bit shite in the week. If peeps are going to play again on the weekends and don't mind a) playing with someone who essentially just rides in circles missing the ball and b) might need to borrow a bike I'd be up for coming along.
Also in it for the beers. -

I can't remember what side of London you are but there's a loaner in South London?
Or borrow ones of ours.
Shall we do another one soon ladies? -
• #223
Yeah, I think we're due. The ladies fixture last night was loads of fun.
I can play this Sunday or any day next weekend and the weekend after (took the 19th/20th off because I'm not working on my bday), don't know what my evenings are like next week until later today.

• #224
So are BBB in for the tourney? Rusties? Nik is be awesome too!

Contemplating feasibility ... but I've got to act fast because it may be hard to request Easter weekend off :/
I don't think Downs has lights yet so it'd have to be a weekend for Downs.
