whilst i don’t pin my hopes and dreams on youtubers, a channel i watch called Yes Theory did a video on Pitcairn a few weeks back and made zero mention of this, which is a bit grim - not least as the title was something like ‘dark secrets of…’.

The horribleness of Pitcairn is fairly well known in NZ, as you might expect.

It was really heavily covered in the UK press at the time, 2004 or so iirc.

What bothers me (apart from the blatant double standards of royalty, mp’s , celebs etc) is the amount of taxpayers money that is going to be spent without public consultation on charles’s Coronation next year.
Millions of £ wasted when it could be spent more wisely.....

I think the Queen's coronation ended up costing about £50m (adjusted for inflation). Will be interesting to see if he decides to come in under that figure or not.

Seems unlikely as Sunak wants to use the occasion to promote Britain around theworld. The security on all the heads of state and government attending will eat into that £50 million very quickly before the Sunak inspired party political propaganda festival even begins.

And now the scrote (Charles) wants to have an "official birthday" less than two months later and give his Mrs, his son and his daughter-in-law honorary colonelships in the Guards which will allow them to dress up like Action Man whenever the cameras come near them.

In better news, Labour for a Republic will be addressing our CLP meeting in January.
