How deep do you ride?

I was on Open Pros tonight and wouldn't want to let go of the bars at an inopportune moment.
I see no reason for deep rims other than aero advantage or around 30mm for a pretty strong wheel.

@clockwork: since norf_based, i find myself happy about the fact that my wheels aren't so pricey. the roads are proper buckelpisten!

plus, most of the kind of weird encounters i had here on the north side of the river.

Just make your deep section wheel hipster ones. They'll be so heavy, the wind want touch you.

HED 3 can demonstrate its automatic steering feature in a moderate wind over a bridge.

This was in full effect yesterday. I also had a demonstration of its supplementary feature which thankfully only happens in high winds: Flight. It would have been funny if it didn't hurt so much!

FWIW I used to get knocked about by the wind on my Mercian, 30mm rims and had very twitchy steering with drops anyway...
