Cav alongside Frank Schleck.

In Hippy's defence. He was never tested. He just looked like he'd had an excess of pies.

That's what annoys me.
He probably has shown some odd blood values, but that is before the fact that he's had his spleen removed has been take into account.
There are any number of factors why blood values might appear dodgy, but until those factors have been presented alongside the incidents of fluctuation, then that list is almost meaningless.Whoever leaked it wants a jolly good sacking, with a large dose of prosecution.
And a slap.
There's an awful lot of assumptions in there, and very little fact.
What makes you think Geraint Thomas is clean? Is it because he's British and clearly therefore immune to cheating? If he was Italian you'd not even have noticed.

It is not a suspicion list, it is a target list for testing.....in order to have targeted testing you have to draw one up and you have to set some kind of criteria....it would probably be near impossible to test all riders after all stages.
The fact that that most French riders are low on the list however smacks of manipulation during their National tour.

Or it means there is little case for suspecting them of doping. Which is probably true, as French cycling was heavily affected by the Festina Affair.

Apparently Jamie Burrow (known to hippy who has drafted him) will be handing out ice creams by the side of the road as the Giro goes past his gaff in Italy today. Watch out for him on Eurosport. Having been photographed standing next to him while we were both wearing lycra, I can state categorically that he could use a few ice creams.

Very good point, as i keep thinking this is a suspicion list.
The UCI wouldn't be so hypocritical and promote a clean sport, whilst doubting a fuck load of pro riders.Would they?

Wiggo up with Contador and above Armstrong.
Amazing.
Yeah, right, because Wiggins has never had any suspicious spikes in performance during his career, and he's obsessed with Weller, who's connected to a musical/style genre that is famed for being drug-free.

Given the sport's track record when it comes to doping, it would be criminal of the UCI to do anything but doubt all professional riders, no?

I anything but noticed your edit, yeah?
