  • Yoo,

Selling this as it's been sitting around for way to long and just got myself a mavic 3g! I personly never got the chance to use it. It's been powerder coated black. But im 99% sure it's a spin? The paint work has a few chips and there is a small amount of damage to the valve hole area. But this is nothing serious! I work in covent garden monday to friday so can meet people in that area at about five pm if anyone wants to view or buy! Also up for a trade so let me know what you got??

    OFFERS ON PRICE PLEASE.......

Carbon composite yes. still not conductive, which is needed for powder coating. Its probably rattle canned. Im just being a troll.

    Got composite Twoflower. Wanna trade?
I can pay cash if it comes with The Luggage.

  • So it seems this wheel was a lot more trouble than it was worth! Cut a long story short the wheel was stolen! I had no idea it was stolen and no reason to believe it was! I ended up getting arrested by police but let go without charge for having it and trying to trade/sell it! I would just like to say a big thank you to the guy who had me arrested and all my bikes and bike parts draged out my home to later be retuned! Dude you put me through hell and i wish you contacted me because i would have give you the shity wheel back! I dont know how other people feel about this??? But would be nice to hear some opinions please!?

  • Who did you buy the wheel off?

  • your hell is very nice

  • Is that the wheel from the stolen Dave Hinde?

  • ... I dont know how other people feel about this??? But would be nice to hear some opinions please!?

You joined in Aug this year, all of your posts are sale related. If it was my wheel, I'd have got in touch with ppl who bought off you and Pistoffski (listed as a friend), then I'd have made a judgement call on whether or not to call the police.

If I wanted my wheel back without having to pay any money, I prolly would have called the police.

Don't know if that's what you wanted to hear.

  • Who did you buy the wheel off?

    ^that?

  • i just feel its unfair! And my posts havent all been sale related! The first post i put up about the wheel was for information and maybe a trade! The wheel came from gumtree, the guy seemed cool and i had no reason to believe it was a stolen! And i paid a good price for it! If the guy got me arrested because he did'nt want to pay that's crazy! I could have lost my job over all of this!!!

  • You were lucky to be confronted by police and not an angry mob of fixie skidders (I realise that doesn't sound that scary! :), d-locks in hand!

That's how I feel about it.

Also that you should be more careful where you get things if you don't want your collar felt by the police!

You can't complain that the original owner was at fault for calling the police, all he knew about you was you had something that was his, that is pretty good reason to get the police involved. Get yourself down to drinks and meet people socially and you'd probably find someone would have a word rather than talking to the police.

  • Have you now passed on all the details about the guy that sold you the wheel to the police? Was it posted to you or did you collect it in person? Have you done everything you can to help the police find the man who sold you stolen property?

khornight i was a messanger for over a year while at college! i have no reason to fear fixie crews! Plus the wheel did'nt come from a fixie! And you say be more careful. But how do you expect someone to know if something has been stolen??

  • What date did you buy the wheel? Did you pay in cash - your bank statement might show when you took the cash out - or by Paypal - you will have record of that. How much did you pay?

  • i paid cash but got the money from a cash machine rite before i payed the guy! I dont see why the dates of when i payed for it realy matters though! It must have been after the guy had it stolen! I paid £120 for it
