You're welcome.
Do you want a link to my treehouse pintrest?

No continuity buzzer on that one.

Joking aside, I do genuinely think a shower curtain with a cut down the middle is a good idea.
You can get loads of different designs that will fit with whatever they like. It's cheap, easily replaceable and safe*. Plus it's moderately weather proof.
If you have the will the best thing would be to hem and sew some Velcro so it can be stuck to itself in the center. Or if you cba fold it so it overlaps.
*Assuming if you're putting them in a treehouse they're old enough not to suffocate on it.

No continuity buzzer
Good point! You just reminded me what I don't like about it.

I can supply any amount of practice material up to a level physics standard. Very useful for basic circuit theory

Update to the car immobiliser / battery issue.
Came out to have one last look before calling AA to get me going/tow me to a garage.
It was in Drive.

Wayooooooooooooo
Edit (glad you realised before calling AA, we’ve all been there).

Both sanders (cheap Macallister detail sander; cheap Erbauer random orbital) came with removable dust bags and attachments for a vacuum or proper dust extractor.
The Erbauer one was great, the Macallister has an annoying quarter-turn attachment which the hoover kept pulling open so I had to fasten it with duct tape.

Shelves have happened.
It turned out the backs of the units weren't as square and even as I'd (naively) assumed - there was actually a 1cm difference between the sides.
And it also turned out that the shelf pins didn't want a 5mm hole after all, they wanted 4.5mm. Which again, naively, I discovered after drilling three holes which are now filled with No More Nails.
Still, it looks better than it did before. And will hopefully look even better still with the same oil as the worktops, and some books on (and a tidier kitchen).

Er, yes.

Nicely done, very neat

Very nice! Where did you source the shelf from?
-
• #21666
Thanks! The shelf is an offcut from the worktops - because we got Ikea cabinets we needed custom-sized worktops which you buy as 920mm x 3000mm lengths. They (Worktop Express) cut them down for you but give you all the offcuts too.
So we had two pieces of 3000mm x 300mm and a few other bigger offcuts too - this was just the beginning.

no contact current detection
Get a clamp meter then. If you’re training to be a spark why not ask your tutor for a recommendation?

Looks great.
In that last photo is that an offcut of worktop on the left is the island? Or some kind of fold out step thing?

It looks like it could be a tray.
-
• #21670
Correct, it's a bamboo tray from Tiger.

Thanks for your advice (again)

Allows users to operate conveniently and safely without the requirement of electrical knowledge.
Um OK

• #21673
That would make far too much sense.

Any leads on coloured glass splashbacks? Need just a small section behind the cooker, no top units so the idea is to get something cut to measure and fix directly with adhesive. Any tips or things to avoid? Is https://www.splashbacksuk.com/ good or shall I loook somewhere else
