That's the post title, no the thread title. Fail.

Anyway, let's get back on topic.
How much better than Mac OS is Win7? Is it 2x, 5x, 100x?
Same crap.
Mind you, XboX is ok. 360 even better.
I always preferred it over the PS (have both, though), because of the graphics and much better ergonomics of the controllers, but why no Blue Ray?
Oh, wait, probably because Bill Gates is just like Steve Jobs and thinks he can single handed control the future. Wrong choice, mate - HD DVD is done and dusted... Or is it? -

XP (2001) to Win7 (2009) upgrade is flawless.
Not trolling if it's in the Windows thread.

So I am trying to get my mum's itunes to work. It won't connect to itunes store, which is annoying for many reasons. Also Google Chrome will not connect to internet.
As IE works, ie will connect to internet, I suspect that the problem is a firewall. However, Windows Firewall has been configured to allow both Chrome & itunes to connect, which makes me think there is another firewall or some other problem.
I have looked at active processes, but can't see anything obvious. Anyone got suggestions?

look in Add or Remove Programs and see if there are any more firewall programs?

Tried that, no obvious candidates.

Hi help required, I have an desktop PC that wasn't being used much it has been upgraded to have 2 hard drives and more RAM etc, so I decided to wipe it clean using 'Killdisk' then the idea was to install a copy of windows ive borrowed, then install some virus protection and Photoshop to use it for photo editing only really.....
But i have got as far as wiping the drives, and have set the BIOS to boot from CD/DVD but i can't get it to boot the Windows disk when its switched back on ???I have checked the BIOS settings for the drive boot order, and set and saved the cd/dvd option, and disabled boot from hard drives......
But still no joy ?????
im using Windows XP Pro SP3Any ideas anyone ???
Cheers in advanceO and before some wise ass says it, yes i know 'get a Mac' is the best solution, but funds, various projects, and my two beautiful little girls make sure thats just not an option much as i would like the latest 27" iMac but hey I can dream......
